Every Year on September 8, the Sultanate participates in celebrating International Literacy Day. The Sultanate has worked hard since 1973 and 1974 to eradicate illiteracy. MoE represented by Directorate General of Education in Al Sharqyiah South received the new building of Bilad Bani Bu Ali girls school for grades (10-12) in Jalan Bani Bu Ali. His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq issued a Royal decree No.79/2020 defining the specializations of the Ministry of Education and its organizational structure. Article (1) defines the specializations of Ministry of Education in accordance with Annex (1) attached to this decree. Article (2) endorses the organizational structure of the Ministry of Education in accordance with Annex (2) attached to this degree. Article (3) cancels all that contradicts this decree.
