The Applied Sciences College in Nizwa, represented by Scout Group and in cooperation with Education Media and Public Relations Section in the Directorate General Of Education at Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, organized photography and studios management workshop. The workshop targeted 30 media coordinators of the governorate schools and included theoretical and practical lectures of diverse issues.
The 1st part of workshop focused on photography. Yahyah Al Hadrami, Assistant Teacher in Public Requirements Department at Nizwa College gave a short introduction about various basic elements in photography such as photography identification, digital camera settings and showed some samples of photos. Also, Mohammed Al Riyami, Assistant Teacher in Design Section clarified the methods of how to take a photo and what aspects should a person consider in taking photos like color and focus.
The second part was about how to run studios. Moreover, the participants moved into the college studio later. Zajid Waheed and Khamis Ambusaidi , Lecturers in Communication Studies Section at the college showed the trainers diverse cameras in TV and how to operate them. They showed them some students projects as a part of their curriculum in which they use studio.
