Dr Humood bin Khalfan al Harthi, Undersecretary of Ministry of
Education for Education and Curriculum, visited schools in remote areas in Al
Dakhiliyah on Sunday. The visit was aimed at following up on the progress of
work at these schools, know the education process and meet the students. A
number of officials from the ministry and Nasser bin Ali al Khayari,
Director-General Assistant at Directorate General of Education in Al
Dakhiliyah, were present. The visit also included a school in Bahla and Adam.
Al Harthi met administrative staff of the schools and spoke about the
ministry’s efforts in supporting schools.
He was briefed about the progress of education process and efforts of schools to raise the level of academic achievement. He learned about the education activities at these schools and the constraints faced by them. He visited the classrooms, and computer and science labs. He discussed many subjects with both teachers and students, including the importance of taking advantage of the specific at schools. He met some parents of students and learned about the educational services provided by the ministry at these schools. He advised children to pay attention to their academic achievements and continue to gain knowledge for a better future.
